2-Day TCP Course Questions:
1. How Long is the Course?
The duration of the program is 16 hours over 2 consecutive days.
2. Do I Need to Bring Anything for the Course?
Students are responsible for bringing CSA approved steel toed boots for the second day of training.
3. Will There Be an Exam?
Yes, students are required to successfully complete an exam as well as an on road practical in order to receive their ticket.
4. When Will My TCP Ticket Expire?
The ticket is valid for 3 years after which you may take a 1-day program to renew the certificate.
5. Can I Find Work After I Get My Certificate?
Absolutely! The Universal Group offers employment opportunities to qualified candidates.

1-Day Recert Questions:
1. I Got My TCP Certification with Another Provider, Can I Still Recertify with Universal Health and Safety?
Yes, UHS will offer the TCP Recert program to TCPs with expiring tickets from any WorkSafe-approved TCP Certifier.
2. Can I Challenge the Exam?
No, you are required to complete the 1-day recert program in order to renew your ticket
Registration Questions:
1. How Can I Register?
You may register online through our website, www.theuniversalgroup.ca, or over the phone with a credit card. Please keep in mind that payment is required in order to secure your spot.
2. What Happens If I Need To Cancel My Registration?
UHS has a 3-business day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is within the 3-business day window, program transfer and/or refunds will not be offered unless the cancellation is for a legitimate reason.
3. Is There an Online Course Option?
No, the course must be taken in the classroom as there are hands on elements to the program that cannot be completed through online.
